What are the common indicators and symptoms of a traumatic brain injury?
The most common indicator of traumatic brain injury is loss of consciousness. Generally speaking, there’s a correlation between how long a person is unconscious and how serious the injury is. So the longer you’re unconscious, the more likely it is you’re going to have a serious and permanent brain injury.
Some of the symptoms, other than being unconscious, are that your pupils may get dilated, you may be confused, you may lose your short term memory. Those are all symptoms of a brain injury.
