If the account was created after March 14, 2017, then your information has not been stolen. America’s Job Link Alliance claims to have fixed the vulnerabilitiy the hacker used to access the databases.

How the data breach happened.

An investigation so far has revealed that a hacker created a new account sometime in the middle of February, which then exploited a vulnerability to view names, dates of birth, and social security numbers for anyone who has created an account in the last 4 years between March of 2014 and March 2017.

Damages which could results from a data breach

When a thief has your name, date of birth, and social security number, they then have all the information they need to open up credit card accounts, establish loans, or even commit identity theft related tax fraud.

If you have been affected by the breach, it has been recommended to monitor bank accounts, credit cards, and credit report for any unusual or suspicious activity.

That way when something does appear, you are able to dispute the activity and report it to the proper authorities.
