Caregiver charged with vulnerable adult abuse and stalking
A patient with Alzheimer’s from Lifehouse Crystal Springs Retirement Home in Grand Rapids was abused and stalked by a caregiver. The employee is charged with second-degree vulnerable adult abuse which is punishable by up to four years in prison, and with stalking which is a one year.
The caregiver was allegedly throwing shoes and water at a 86 year old patient, and he also threatened to sexually assault the woman with a stuffed animal.
